There are a lot of good episodes to choose from. some of mine include "tea for three", the one where rodney gets del to go handgliding, "yuppy love", the one where del falls at the bar and one of my favourite xmas specials is "heroes and villains", the one where del and rodney run through the streets of peckham dressed as batman and robin.

"yuppy love", the one where del falls at the bar... Not a bad episode, but don't they always use 'that' clip on anything to do with great comedy moments type things.... Oh, and the other one they use a lot is the one with the chandalier! They are funny clips though.

Telly favourite Sir David Jason is set to return to Only Fools And Horses — in the long-awaited prequel.
Show creator John Sullivan has finally started work on the series charting Del’s early life and Sir David has hinted he will make a guest appearance.
He could play a present-day Del Boy in flash-forward scenes or even an elderly relative like Grandad.
A source close to John said yesterday: “They’ve really laid Only Fools to rest, but John’s had a twinkle in his eye about the prequel for a few years now.”
John has been busy working on Only Fools spin-off The Green, Green Grass, but has already started planning for Once Upon A Time In Peckham.
A TV insider said: “David is extremely fond of Del Boy and John Sullivan.
“He’s made it clear he would like to take a cheeky part in any future comedy.
“He could be an aged relative or Del Boy now in any flash-forward scenes.”
Interesting idea, but this sort of thing usually doesn't work! They should leave it alone now.

Oh dear(!) "First Of The Summer Wine" anyone... or even "Muppett Babies"? ;D N. They even did it with Eastenders years ago. An episode set 'during the war', with a young Lou Beale, and Ethel (without her little Willy) played by Fay off Grange Hill! ;D That was shit n'all

agree they should leave it be.. in fact they should have done that before the last round of "del boy returns" things were never as good as the older stuff in my opinion.

One for the on Holiday hulk
Nicholas Lyndhurst is to play Rodney's father in a prequel to Only Fools And Horses. The 47-year-old actor will play "art connoisseur" Freddie "The Frog" Robdal in the BBC One spin-off, working title Sex, Drugs And Rock 'n' Chip - who is the biological father of Rodney Trotter, the character which made his name in the hit comedy.
The Inbetweeners star James Buckley will play the teenage Del Boy Trotter, while Bad Girls' Kellie Bright will play Del Boy's glamorous mother Joan Trotter and Soldier Soldier's Shaun Dingwall will play her husband Reg Trotter.
Phil Daniels plays Del's granddad, Ted Trotter and The Royal's Robert Dawes will play Joan's boss, the sleezy Mr Raynor.
Writer John Sullivan says: "Sex, Drugs And Rock 'n' Chips hurtles us into the rough and unglamorous world of London in 1960 to discover the circumstances that led to Del and Rodney Trotter turning out the way they did.
"Nick Lyndhurst is a comedy genius and I can't think of anyone better suited to bring the shady but charming Freddie Robdal to life, and James Buckley has a tough act to follow but is sure to do for leather bomber jackets and winkle-pickers what David Jason did for camel-haired coats and cocktail umbrellas!"
The series will see Joan not-so-happily married and living in Peckham with bone-idle Reg and her teenage son, Derek, when Freddie "The Frog" Robdal is released from prison and comes back into their lives.
Shooting begins in London from Monday October 5.
The comedy drama will also feature the teenage versions of Only Fools And Horses favourite characters Boycie, Trigger, Denzil and Roy Slater
