 I'm sure this will bring mixed views. It all depends on your sense of humour with this. If you're not into the visual stuff, you'll probably hate it. I myself, didn't mind some of the sketches in it, although there are some poor ones as well! My 2 kids love it, even the spin-off cartoon that comes on one of the satellite channels. I didn't like Bean - The Movie though, that was cack. |

Used to like it... not overfond now though.
Still... like you say the purely 'visual' stuff ain't everyone's cup of tea.

they've been showing these again on one of the kids channels. not bad, but it seems so old now, and i used to love mr. bean.

This is one of those odd shows where I love the actor, hate the character. I adore Rowan Atkinson, just can't stand Mr Bean.

I am conflicted by this character.
I loved the Mr. Bean Diary... hysterical.
And some of the scenes are wonderful...
Getting changed on the beach.
Stuffing the turkey.
The Chair and The Mini...
Has anyone seen the animated version?
I don't think it got to the states...I still want to have Rowan Atkinson's love child...

It is indeed... I've NEVER seen a shopkeeper appear 'as if by magic' - however, I have seen 'em disappear like "sh*t off a chrome shovel" when you require assistance!

Problem is, you need to go into the shops where people wear fezes...
Little toy bike shops... Shriner suppliers... Ethiopian Grocers... That sort of thing...

I loved mr.bean as a kid! I grew up with it and father ted. The best Bean for me has to be 'Mind The Baby' and the scene where the dirty nappy flies around the fairground landing on that guys toffee apple! hehehe! Hate the films tho! Bean wasn't so bad but the Holiday one was dreadful!
