Mondays 10pm BBC2!!! Didn't see the first one (and I call myself a Coogan fan!) I forgot about it. Just watched some clips from it though. Looks OK, but I'll have to watch it next week and then decide if it's good or bad! I thought he looked like Bill Oddie though!   ;D ;D ;D |

Watched 2nd episode last night. I thought it was OK, although he really is Alan Partridge with a beard! (with a hint of Paul Calf) I'll probably stick with it though. See how it develops.

As with many musicians, comedy types often seem to burn themselves out early and never again recapture the brilliance of old. When did Coogan last do something really good? Ditto Peter Kay.

Coogan's only real success is Alan Partridge.
The sad thing is, no matter what he does, he always breaks into that character at some point.
Peter Kay at the moment is still cashing in on old material, but trying slowly to be considered an 'actor' now after his appearance in Doctor Who (even though he had his Brian Potter wig on in that!) and he wants to be in a Harry Potter film!
