I mentioned this show a couple of weeks ago. I've finally decided to put it in with 'The Best of British'. I don't know why, I don't remember too much of it! If it's decided it was cack, then we will move it to 'Good Riddance'.

Thora Hird and Christopher Beeny starred in the main series from 1979 - 1986. The pilot show was actually screened 10 years earlier with Marjorie Rhodes playing Ivy instead of Thora Hird.

I recall enjoying it... but not seen it for years, so I'd like 'em to show it again and then I can make an informed judgement based on that.

I loved the tune though - owt that's a bit "pom-pompom" does me... that's why I like Laurel and Hardy!
