As i've only seen bits of him (mostly on things like HIGNFY) quite looking forward to this...(Most remember to set it in box...should be going to Wales this weekend) The Omid Djalili Show BBC 1 Saturday, November 17th, 2007 9:30pm to 10:00pm A mixture of standup comedy and sketches from award winning comedian Omid Djalili. Omid talks about his days as a bit part actor, Muslim fundamentalists and Godzilla impressions. Sketches include a self help guide to countryside survival, a wannabe actor trying to impress a famous actress and an innocent film director who finds himself directing Osama Bin Laden.

Seen most of these so far.
I think it's ok. Stand up definitely better than the sketches, but the characters are growing on me.
I liked the surreal one about the fish fighting the business man, and the football game where the ref joined in & gave himself a red card!

It'll be interesting to see if he can come up with enough material for a second series...
