Ok, so I know this isn't everyone's cup of tea! I like it, so here we go..

That Mitchell and Webb Look is a BAFTA award winning sketch show starring David Mitchell and Robert Webb, Olivia Colman, James Bachman and Paterson Joseph.

Sketches are mixed in with 'between takes' chats between the cast... which were sketches themselves.

Regular sketches included:

Numberwang - a completely random game show
The Surprising Adventures of Sir Digby Chicken-Caesar - a pair of drunks on the trail of their nemesis
The Snooker Commentators - 'oh and that's a bad miss'
Hole in the Ring - A paradoy of The Weakest Link
The bad writers - poorly researched & quickly writen genre pieces
Big Talk - Host Raymond asks his panel of boffins BIG questions, attempting to solve the worlds problems

Some of the camera work on Sir Digby may have been inspired by Peep Show...

The new series has just started and is on Thursday nights at 9pm on BBC2.

Not a bad ep but not their best last night. The lazy writers were back but not as good as usual. Did like the idea of the 'vets' that couldn't quite save the animals, so they ate them instead!

I thought the last series was really good but the first episode of the new series I thought was quite poor apart from the boy with an arse for a face OH and the adventures of Sir Digby Chicken Ceaser but hopefully it'll get better!
