Written by Jim Hitchmough Starred Emma Wray, Liza Tarbuck, Paul Bown, Patsy Byrne + others... Ran for 7 series + 3 specials between 1987 -1993 Brenda and Pamela Wilson are sisters whose idea of fun is to go out to their local pub, the Grapes, and watch men, trying to guess their backgrounds, how old they are, what religion and what job they have. Into the pub walks Malcolm Stoneway, a watcher of a different kind: he's a keen ornithologist. Unaware of this, Brenda manoeuvres him into asking her out, and for their first date he collects her in his motorcycle sidecar and heads out into the country with his binoculars. She hates every minute of it, thinking of him as 'a 14-carat wimp'. And yet, against all odds, a relationship develops.A pleasant sitcom to watch on a Friday evening. It was interesting one to watch to see how their relationship developed as the years went by. I remember Malcolm ended up marrying some other bird later on, but did he end up marrying Brenda? I can't remember...

....Did rather like Emma Wray tho' She was alright till she chopped her hair off! You would never have guessed that 'Nursie' off Blackadder would give birth to Malcolm!

I quite enjoyed Watching. Didn't realise it ran for seven series, though.
