Saw Cannon & Ball at Butlins about 7 years ago. It was a few months after me and my wife got engaged, and we decided to see if we could get some free booze, so I asked a Red Coat if Cannon & Ball could propose on my behalf! They took me back stage with them, and they did not really seem to be speaking to each other there at all (despite everything in the news about them resolving their differences since finding god - or was that a dog). Anyway, they said a few words, then at the end they just asked me to get up on stage. I asked her (again) to marry me, to which I knew the answer and they then gave us a bottle of champagne. Should try it again really!!
