Ken Goodwin Is The Master
I will add to What Zygon and Spielberg have put I was watching the comedians at the caravan at the weekend and I just thought Ken was brilliant. The material itself has to be said is not that great it's just the way that he laughs at himself while he Say's it that you just can't help but laugh. For those of you who have not heard of him I strongly suggest that you Purchase a copy of The Comedians and watch it.
(Preferably after a few alcoholic tipples!)
HEY WHERE HAVIN A GOOD TIME AREN'T WE!!!

Aaaaauuueerrugghhhh!!!
Another class act on the Comedian is Mike Burton....The strange thing is the more I look at Mike I think that is what I would probably look like if I had my hair cut that short.....
To anyone that has not got a copy of the Comedians on VD yet I strongly recommend that you purchase 1. It has to be said some of the gags are not that good but I guarantee that you will laugh especially at Mike Burton's joke about the Liverpool support Spielberg & Zygon know which one I mean.
There is also a Bonus feature a Documentary about Ken Goodwin. It has to be said that the Documentary is not that brilliant but it does give you an insight on how Ken got into comedy.....

I've just noticed good old Frank Carson in this section. He's daft as a brush him, but he's a beltin' chap.

Frank!
Me Mam met him on the train... he kept walking past her and me Auntie saying "It's a cracker!" for the sake of it later on!
;D
I'd've asked hi, to say:
"This is Frank Carson... news at tay-en!"
;D
Love that!

I saw Frank Carson once in Blackpool. I was just queuing up for some chips opposite the 'Sand Castle'. He just strolled past doing 'that laugh' at someone.
"It's de way oi tell 'em"

How is it you manage to see famous people where ever you go?? I don't! I know it might sound like it with the stories I tell. But they are all true you know! Remember, that encounter is just a small part of my 33 years of life! ;D

Decided to Google Charlie Williams...
one thing I found was this...
I'd like to see it!
The Charlie Williams Show UK, BBC, Standup, Colour, 1973 Starring: Charlie Williams A BBC2 Show Of The Week special for Charlie Williams, the Yorkshire-born standup comic, of Jamaican descent, who had shot to fame as one of the regular jokesters in Granada's The Comedians, becoming the first British black comic to enjoy mainstream TV success.
In his TV material Williams often poked fun at his colour and racial issues, and so was essentially non-confrontational in style; conversely, his routines often concluded with him getting the better of those who maligned him.
Williams had been a professional footballer (with Doncaster Rovers) before entering show business as a singer. When his between-songs comic patter proved more popular with the punters than his music he decided to focus entirely on a standup routine.
Researched and written by Mark Lewisohn.
Cast Charlie Williams
Crew Wally Malston - Writer Garry Chambers - Writer Michael Hurll - Producer
Transmission Details Number of episodes: 1 Length: 45 mins 30 July 1973 ยท BBC2 Mon 9.25pm

I can't stand Charlie Williams -
"Hey I'm black, so I can tell racist jokes and make money off the back of it - it's PC to do so!"
Saw a physically handicapped comedian on television a while back telling "sp*st*c" gags and getting everyone laughing... so things haven't changed there.
Ah... it's not offensive? It's called irony apparently!
Balls!
