Just spotted this. Does anyone know much about these films. Whether they are the good ones he made, or is it just the older, less funny ones...? HAVE A LOOK

Now that is old stuff! As for the H.L, I'm not that bothered if it's early stuff.

Whether they are the good ones he made, or is it just the older, less funny ones...? quote] With the exception of Grandma's Boy, not his best or funniest films. Arguably, Grandma's Boy and The Kid Brother are reckoned to be his best films, and An Eastern Westerner and Never Weaken are good, too, but a collection including Speedy, Safety Last, Girl Shy, The Kid Brother, Mad Wednesday and Haunted Spooks (silent) would be better. Haunted Spooks was the film he was making when a prop "Xmas pudding" bomb went off in his hand, blowing his forefinger and thumb off and causing major injury to the abdomen, chest and face. He was in hospital for a couple of months, but returned to fuill fitness using a special glove to simulate the missing digits. It was with this hand that he was suspended from the famous clock face, and though he was only inches off the ground, that hand had to take all his weight while filming.

You can get a box set with some these on, but it's only available on region 1 yet... CLICK THISIt doesn't tell you what is on it though!
