All I can say is YEA!!!!!
I've read mixed comments, some saying the original music will be intact, some saying it won't, some saying they obtained the rights to use whatever original music they could, and if they couldn't, they substituted songs as close to the scene's theme as they could.
All I can say is they've GOT to have "You're Having My Baby" in the pilot episode, when Dr Johnny Fever changes the station's format abruptly to rock and roll!

I made the mistake of reading reviews of this release on Amazon.com, and almost didn't buy it as a result. Then I thought, the h*ll with it, and bought it any way. Before it was even out, people were saying all sorts of stuff about it, how the original music is going to be replaced, how scenes were cut as they were for syndication. I saw my favorite episode, "Tornado," on Nick at Night, and they cut a very beloved segment of it. I bought the DVD set, which allegedly had what was in syndication, and there's my favorite line in the episode intact. So here's the real scoop: there're some replacement songs of the originals. However, they kept "You're having my baby" when the format's changed in the pilot. They also have some other songs I recognize, like "Boogie Oogie Oogie" and something by Bob Marley. They apparently got the rights to whatever songs they could, and if they couldn't, they replaced them with similar sounding songs, so when Johnny's dancing along with the song in the booth, it's really in time with the music. I couldn't tell a single segment that had been cut out. If you're a WKRP fan, you definitely want this set. The Doctor is in.
