Sorry, but I thought this was utter cack! Now I'm thinking, maybe there's a female audience out there who did actually enjoy it. If so, if you give me good enough reason, I will move this to the 'Best of British'. I can't be fairer than that. But for now, it stays here!

"Oh - how versatile is Joanna Lumley?"
They all said.
"Very" I replied.
But it's still shite!

Thank Gawd 'French' weren't there!
Why?
Well... I'd hate to see that she were BIG BONED after all - a likely excuse!
Ho! I've woken up again - that's definitely a 9/10 on the 'Wit' scale!!!

Oh Gawd, it looks like I'm one of those weird women who love Ab/Fab. Sorry, but it makes me laugh out loud. Who couldn't laugh when Patsy burned down Eddy's kitchen, with her still in it, and she survived. My favorite has to be Bubbles, she is such a hoot. I've actually met people that dumb. Maybe to you all this wasn't the Best of British comedies, but I loved it.

Ah... Renee we'll let you off... you're American and U.S. women are allowed to admire the U.K. gels...
I mean - Tracy Ullman is CRAP - but is seen to be 'a hoot' in the U.S. - so I reckon it's a cultural thing.
And no doubt it's the same thing over here... there are probably loads of U.S. ladies that Brit gels dig but you lot can't stand!!!
Can't think of any at the moment though!

I enjoyed the first two series. Saunders was going to call it a day, but was lured (no doubt with considerable financial incentives) into bringing it back - after which it was largely shit, not to put too fine a point on it. Total waste of Julie Sawalha, whose magnificent cleavage was hidden under those horrible jumpers and cardies. Effing sacrilege!
