Stand up/ Sketch show - Ran for only 1 series in 1993. Was a spin-off series from 'The Mary Whitehouse Experience' featuring David Baddiel and Rob Newman. The 'History Today' sketches weren't bad - "That's you that is.." etc..., The rest of it was sh*t. No wonder it only lasted one series!

OK I know this is an old thread but I'm a slacker at visiting this here site (sorry! and have only just spotted how this is totally in the wrong section! Newman and Baddiel In Pieces was great fun! OK, I admit I was a teenager at the time and perhaps juvenile humour appealed to me more in those days but any show which had a character like 'Jarvis' just had to be pure class! (There's a couple of clips on YouTube if you have no idea who I'm on about!)
Rob Newman was clearly the talented one of the two though so it's a shame he's not been as famous since though I think these days he's into writing books on serious topics (yawn :
OK, I'll shut up now! 'ere, no worries about reviving old threads. That's what I like to see. Someone who has obviously had a look through the place and found something to join in with. It's good to get a reply to this seeing as it's not far off the thread's 1st anniversary! As to this 'Jarvis' character, yeah I remember him and that was what I remember being the worst and most unfunny thing about the entire show. Sorry, it stays in 'Good riddance'!
