The title is so long, it wouldn't fit in the header. The Strange Case of the End of Civilization As We Know ItThe short synopsis from IMDB: The grandson of the world's first and foremost consulting detective and his bumbling, bionic sidekick attempt to catch the only living descendant of Professor Moriarty.I'm surprised this hasn't been mentioned yet on the board (at least per the search feature it hasn't). It stars John Cleese, and includes Nick Tate ("Space: 1999") and Connie Booth, among many others playing parodies of Kojak, Columbo and other famous TV detectives. The comment on IMDB doesn't show it in a very positive light, but I saw it when I was a teen, so maybe my opinion of it would be different now. I saw it in Mississippi of all places (if you're American, you'd know how unusual that is). I've never seen it up here in Seattle. None of the MPFC fans I know up here has heard of it. I always thought it was a movie, but the runtime is 56 minutes.

I picked this up on a torrent site a while ago, but I don't think I've actually watched it yet.
