Who remembers 'Pacers'? They were chewy mint toffees with green and white stripes...
or Dinosaur Eggs? A type of gobstopper that came in it's own little box. It changed colour every few minutes...
or those liquorice things that looked like a record. You unrolled it until you got to some spongy toffee bit in the middle. A lot of kids choked on these things trying to show off!
And who remembers that Kinder Egg 'Humpty Dumpty' type character that got banned because kids were sh*t scared of him?
"Ee-bo trrickeeee......... KEEEEEEN-DER!"
(Voice was crossed between Jabba The Hutt & Yoda) ;D
What else?

Oh aye, that Kinder one lol...
"Me scrooble now!"
;D
The toys were a cross between David Lynch and Salvador Dali's nightmares... I recall a cow/car combination with horns with hands and a big spooky face... and a toblerone style chassis - what deranged fooker came up with that?
;D

Aye, there were some very strange little toys inside 'em. I didn't even like 'em myself. I've never liked white chocolate since I ate a bag full of 'white mice' and made myself very sick. Used to like 'Caramac' too, but went off that as well. You can still get that. There were some limited editon Caramac kit Kats out a while back. My kids loved 'em!

Let's now discuss... The CABANA! N. Wasn't that a coconut chocolate bar? A bit like a Bounty, but all one piece, sort of curved on top?

Yep - and with CHERRIES in it!
Belting - I caused an uproar in the Sixth form at the Deanery when I burst into the headmaster's office to announce:
"Me Cabana's stuck in the machine".
But that's another story!
;D

What was the proper name for those chewies that tasted of Germoline? We always called them 'Germoline bubblies'. They were 2p each but came with a tattoo inside of a smiley face. If you rubbed the tatoo enough it smudged and turned green. I had a plan once, to buy loads of them and make myself green like the 'Hulk'. I did as much as the back of my hand once, got bored and gave it up! Also, 'Parma Violets'. They They were just like 'Swizzels' but the they were all purple and crap. It was as if someone had dipped your 'Swizzels' in your mum's perfume for a laugh! Nasty.

I used to love them Parma Violets better than the 'proper' swizzles.

Welcome to Planet Comedy, sheilaswheels.
Not sure I remember vice versa chocs though unfortunately, although they have something in the US called a Zero bar. It's basically like a Snickers bar but with white chocolate instead of brown chocolate.
Mind you, I'm old-school enough that I still think of them as Marathon bars!

They were like mini minstrels weren't they? I don't like white chocolate, so I wouldn't buy 'em. Minstrels for me anyday, even those cheap shell-less ones you get in Revels!
