IMHO, the best ever British comedy, bar none. What else is there to say? ;D

I'm the only one here who likes Father Ted - arguably the best comedy of all time?

To be completely honest, I never watched it. I know it was very popular in it's time, coz it won quite a few comedy/television awards.
You can't be on your own though funkdooby. There must be other fans of it out there (somewhere!)

Never watched Father Ted!? That's a bit like saying 'I've never breathed'. Or 'I've never bummed a wild rhino on Clapham Common.' Shocking!

On CD.
If there's anywhere that you can recommend for me to upload 'em to on the net as MP3 tracks... let me know and I'll see what I can do.
I have 3 mixes... "Get To Feck", "Kicking Bishop Brennan Up The Arse" and "Fther Ted - Party Mix" - also have a few Royle Family ones and Alan Bennett stuff too - but me best one is "Looking For Rowan" - based on/including samples taken from 'The Wicker Man'.

Sounds like good stuff (especially the Royle family!)
Don't know where would be best to share 'em though. I'll let you know if I see owt.

Please do. I could have whacked ye 'em all on a CD if I'd've thought on. Best one I do is "Lemon Wedge" - Alan Bennett stuff remixed with some Gary Numan. The DAY AFTER I did it... them minging fookahs "The Shuggerbabs" did "Freak Like Me" - a remix of the same stuff I was doing... only not as good! Bitches! They made money... I got sod all, except funny looks when I played it in the car with the window down! N.

Sugarmingers are total shite. How they make money with what they do is a mystery.
It's definately a case of 'who you know' and all that stuff.
As for in-car, try turning the volume down a couple of notches at red lights!

Can you believe it? There's a feud going in between two remote islands off Ireland, over a Father Ted festival! Inis Mor is holding a festival later this year to commemorate the 9th (!) anniversary of the actor's death, but nearby Inis Iorr says it has more connection with the programme because of a shipwreck or something. Truth is, neither island has much connection, as the rural scenes were shot in County Clare, Ireland, at Ennis, Kilfenora and Kilnaboy, the manse was at Glenquin and all the indoor action was shot in London. I don't know much about the programme, but I think it's a dam shame when comedy can start this much trouble, when the so-called connections are so tenuous anyway.
