it was my wedding anniversary at the end of June (my wifes as well 
)
and she bought me the 50th anniversary DVD set of Bilko , I haven`t seen them for years , and they are just as funny as I rmember them , the number of Actors who got their first break on the show was amazing , Dick Van Dyke , Alan Alda (who looked about 15 by the way) , also they tell a story about the military adviser on the show , a tall Captain who was invalided out of the Army and had bit parts in the show , his name was George Kennedy ! , I think my favorites have to be where a monkey is inducted into the Army and then has to be court martialed to get him out , and his defence attorney is Bilko .
