ok, harpo never played a deaf mute in any films with his brothers but he did play a deaf mute in an old film  He appeared out of character on the 1960 Jane Wyman Theatre "Silent Panic"- albeit as a deaf-mute, thereby maintaining his professional silence. and the ernie and bert thingy is well known for being an urban myth but i thought this was the answer moriarty wanted!  |
