I watched Dundee II, a few days ago. First time I've watched it since I saw it at the pictures. I'd forgot how slow a film it is. There are very few funny scenes in it. One of the better ones being the one in the subway with the two Japanese tourists.. "Did you see who that was?" "Crint Eastrud" The film is 1h 45mins. long, but I reckon they could have deleted quite a few scenes and got it down to 90 minutes.

I personally love this film, perhaps even more than CDI. One scene I like when they go to rescue Sue from the bad guy.
I like when the punk asks Mick, "What do you think the chances are of getting out of here with that jacket?" Mick throws his knife, splitting the kid's mohawk, and says, "I'd say better than fair."
(Probably paraphrasing, can't remember precisely.)
I like when everyone's swarming to Long Island, most of them not even knowing why, and they're playing Iggy Pop's "Wild Child."
Did you notice Colin Quinn? That was during his MTV days (or just after, can't remember), before he joined Saturday Night Live.

And I still reckon they could have cut it a bit. I didn't spot him, no!

He's one of the guys that gathers at the mansion on Long Island. He's wearing a tux and walks up and asks what's going on.

I can not remember if it is the second one but one of my favorite lines is about the knife. "Naw, THIS is a knif!" The look on the kids face is great. I agree to the movie is slow but still good.
