Well after my very enjoyable trip to New York, I've since been thinking of other places in the world I would like to see before I'm too old or ill to be able to.
My next plan is Los Angeles - Hollywood , California which I'm seriously considering doing in about five years. I've priced it up roughly and you're talking around 700 quid for a week in 3 star accomodation in the centre of Beverly Hills! (Flight included).
I reckon five years is plenty of time to save up without too much pressure and should be another top experience in life.
Other places I'd lke to see would be Africa, Australia and India. One day, who knows!
So where would you lot like to go?

Seriously.
Auschwitz - I plan to go there some time.
Also - and you KNOW it... New York - me and Mrs. Columbo have always wanted to go there... so we're saving some cash for that... meantime, we're off to Yorkshire this year - that'll do us!

Well I'm now in a position to offer advice/tips etc. if you need any. Feel free to ask. The only down side to NY from my experience was finding somewhere decent to eat. That's something that I'd suggest you'd research before you went!

Okay then - one question: Any "veggie friendly" places? Anywhere Spain related is sh*te because they have f*ck all for ye unless you eat meat and fish - I'd like to think that NY would be more for the likes of us. N.

Okay then - one question: Any "veggie friendly" places? Not being a veggie myself, that's something I didn't look into. But if my memory serves me right, I think there were vegetarian meals on most menus. Personally now, I would recommend looking on various websites to do with eating out in NY. That's something I never did but wish I had. There are plenty of McDonalds, but who wants that every day! Most food places are junk food houses. The decent restaurants are quite expensive, and some don't even display prices on the outside menu, so be aware of that, you'll not know what you're paying until you're in there an sat at the table!

I would recommend Italy lake como to anyone. We went a couple of years ago. Villa Carlotta. One of many Ferries to visit different places. Griante up in the mountains. Bellagio. Lake Como

Personally, I've always wanted to see Hawaii. Renee was there in 1978 and tells me it was awesome.
I also wouldn't mind seeing Canada; I'm only a hop, skip and jump from there now (almost literally) but haven't made it across the border.
I've always wanted to see Savannah, Georgia too. I've kind of fallen in love with the ideas of family values, home cooking, and "Good Ol' Boys" Americana that's traditionally associated with the deep south.
Another one is the Pacific Northwest of the USA (Oregon, Washington state). From footage I've seen in movies (most notably Kindergarten Cop and The Stepfather I & II) it looks beautiful up there.
And finally, one day I'd LOVE to go to Daytona Beach, Florida, to see the Daytona 500.
