Here is a picture of it. I was too lazy to go outside to take it so its taken at a weird angle. I haven't said anything on facebook about it because I don't want to get some family members jealous. But our car at the moment is having issues. The signals won't work, the check engine light comes on and off and the anti lock break light is on all the time. I think it was time to get something newer.

Nice truck. Not sure I'd want to run something that big over here , what with the price of fuel being what it is !!
Think I'll stick to my little 60mpg C3. The second most boring car in the world. (I own the most boring car in the world too, a Citroen Xsara.)
Are you fitting the exhaust yourself Dingo ? ;D

That picture doesn't do it justice. The Dodge Dakota is actually kind of small, especially compared to others in the Dodge range, and big trucks like the Ford F250 or SuperDuty.
This morning, I like the thought of the bus. All the cars out in our building's car park are covered in frost. Renee has to leave for work in half an hour. No scraping! Wayhay! No waiting for the engine to warm. Just a quick nip down the stairs and on the bus.

I agree with Shake a Dakota is the smaller truck in the Dodge family. But for what we use it for it fits us. Our exhaust in the car also has to get replaced too. Its one bump away from being torn off. lol. Must say for a 1994 car its been pretty good to us. We filled up the truck and it cost about $10 more than the car. But we will have to wait and see how far a tank of gas will take us. We had frost here too Shake. The geese have been flying every morning over the house so its safe to say the snow is on its way. Lets hope the Winter is a short one. I hope I didn't give the wrong impression when I said my family may get jealous. I come from a large family and sometimes feelings get hurt when someone gets something nice. I don't mind sharing with my friends on here about our news. Like all things stuff comes with a cost. And that cost means I have to find a full time job soon.

The best of British - er, Canadian - luck finding a job in today's economy, DaleFan.
I'm glad your old car has been so good to you. The van we just got rid of was a '93 (and, a Dodge!) It trooped and trooped for us. That said, while I do miss it (and its convenience) on occasion, even Renee was stoked about not having to shiver and scrape this morning - instead all she had to do was sit in the warmth of the apartment and wait until she saw her bus pulling in.
And I don't have to worry she'll have an accident driving in the ice rink that Minnesota becomes every winter.

Started the Christmas shopping in earnest now.... so that's all I'm buying at the mo. Buying for KK is difficult, not coz he's hard to buy for, just coz he always finds out what I've got him!
