Ah, but you're missing the fundamental problem ! It's OK for Mrs L to spend her me money on clothes (usually accomplished by sending off for umpteen coats/jumpers/cardigans etc and then sending most of them back) but apparently I have too many books and don't need any more.

Got the new Harry potter DVD today. Mrs L had ordered it from Tesco at £8, and when I went in to Sainsbury's it was only £7, so I phoned her. She was in Asda and was looking for something else but couldn't see HP, so I bought it. As I left the shop I looked at my receipt and there were loads of Nectar points on my card, so I could have had it for nothing !!! I then phoned her about something else and she said she'd found it at £6.71. How cheap is that ?

I had to buy some moisturiser - not very exciting but necessary. Went to Boots & after much consideration KK spotted a bargain.... one tub for £4.29 or two for £4!! I love a bargain!

Bought floor mats for the truck as a gift for my better half. He guessed what they were and I am tempted to take them back. But since we need them I probably won't.

Not so much bought as aquired, I got a new pair of work boots. I asked the rep if he'd do me a special price and he sent them free of charge. Can't get better than that.

I'm giving 'War on Terror the boardgame' for Christmas this year, Christmas is a time for family and fighting over a board game after all, so what could be better? I am completely bias because I drew the pictures for it, so basically it's a gift I made myself, which are always best, so I've just talked you out of looking at it: but here's the shameless link if you're into fighting at Christmas and upsetting nan or just want to wear the evil balaclava because it's rather freezing at the moment... www.waronterrortheboardgame.com/
