Just arrived 'The Two Ronnies in Australia' An aussie DVD of the series they did there in 87 (which as far as i know has never been broadcast here), oddly only 6 of the 7 eps...one apparently unavailible!

I love the Two Ronnies but working in a (bit of an old fashioned) DIY store I do get a wee bit fed up with fork 'andle jokes.

Went to Poundland to get some slim jewel cases for the CDs I've used to copy my audio books. And I found a total bargain if I can find my old cassette player, a ten cassette unabridged audio book of Thomas Harris' Red Dragon, in which we are introduced to a pre Silence of the Lambs Hannibal Lecter. If not, looks like I will have to have Mrs L's car for a few weeks.
Mmmm, think I'll look for the cassette player ! ;D

People are morons. I just found this at our local K Mart. It was in the $5 bin - with a $5 sticker on it. Over the top of the $5 sticker, poorly placed, someone had put a $7.99 sticker. So, I wonder, is it $5 or $8? I'll buy since it's a deal at either price, but, turns out it WAS $5! Some kid had been label tampering. Bloody kids.

The best Bluetooth device ever. Only 2 1/2" long and as thick as my little finger, I can now listen to music from my phone (and answer calls should it ring while I'm listening) without having to worry about wires trailing everywhere. Turn it on and press a button and the phone starts playing without having to faff around finding the media player. Or the phone for that matter, as long as it's less than 10m away. Only £20 from e-bay. My favourite gadget at the moment.

We just bought a Samsung digital camera. It was on clearance for $79 but we got it for $52, because we bought the display model and my employee discount. It has 10 mega pixels and a 2.5" intelligent LCD screen. We both love it and I'm sure you'll be seeing some photos on here very soon.

Forgot to mention the unicycles. Had to have a go after a circus visit. Bought myself one after some research as to the best one to buy for a complete learner. It arrived, and I had a go,only to find that it was really too small for me (given it to my eldest). So I bought me a bigger one. That went down well, I can tell you !

I just got an Iphone!!! It is the coolest piece of kit EVER. I love it. It was a combination birthday and Anniversary gift from my hubby. In case you all don't know this Jan. 31 will be our 10th Anniversary! Remember that if people ask whether internet romances ever work out.
