 Just booked my car in to have a new clutch. My original fear was a cost of around £700 to get it done. Got a quote this morning for £550 which I thought was a lot better but after speaking to a couple of mates. One who has the same car as me told me that quote was also too high and suggested an alternative mechanic. Nipped there this afternoon. He can do it for £300. The £700 was what another mate paid last week but a different car. All the costs have something to do with a 'fly wheel'. If I was paying 700, then yes I'd expect the car to bloody fly for that! Anyway, not as bad as I expected. Still have to find another £263 to re-licence it as a taxi for the next 12 months. The joys of self-employment!  |

Got mine today.... Gee, aren't they big! I don't know whether to mount them on frames or make them into a cutout. Don't want to spoil them but if they get framed then it makes it difficult to transport them to our meetings. I need extracating from this devastating dilemma! HELP! |
