Me and Mrs Sheds went watching Neil Diamond last night at the M.E.N. - It was an absolutely crackin' show. He did just short of two hours non stop. He did a different arrangement of songs compared to some of his live albums but did include many of his classsics and a few of his new ones. I heard people complaining on the way out, saying he didn't do such a song or this song etc... If Neil stayed to sing all his good stuff, we'd all still be there yet!  |

Went out last night with the girls for a drink.... haven't been out drinking in ages, I'm usually the driver. Not exactly hungover this morning, just v tired. Some b***ard phoned the house at 5.20 this morning & woke me..... didn't get back to sleep properly after that.  Just popping on here while I have a cuppa to wake myself up then I'll jump in the shower in an effort to feel human again. Taking KK to a Wedding reception tonight where he'll meet all my work friends Should be a good night! |

Had a trip up Three Sisters earlier - I spotted: Great Spotted Woodpecker (one male adult and one juvenile... the latter having a completely red 'cap'). Chaffinch.
Jay (two of which kept 'spooking' the other smaller birds). Coal Tit.
Great Tit.

I've been chilling at home - not done much lately beyond telly, internet, and video games, though I have been reading my Star Wars novel.
Oh, and Renee and I have started our "make-the-apartment-nicer-to-live-in" projects by cleaning the living room from head to toe, and the bedroom, setting up the Xbox and PCs in the spare room, and boxing up a load of junk we don't use to give away.

Here's me today. Car M.O.T. - had to be there at Aspull at 8:30... walked it into Wigan after dropping off. Came back, watched "The Birds" - Hitchchock film. Had my dinner - and then had a mad clean up and a hoover. Went to pick car up. Took doggies out. In a bit, off round to the brother-in-law's for our tea. N. |
