Congratulations on your wedding anniversary Shake and Renee, and I hope your plans come off KK and Zoot. 2010 is going to be a good year ! We went to see some ex-neighbours yesterday whom we haven't seen for ages. As it was a sort of joint birthday celebration for me and Phil (both born on the same day, same year) I was allowed to be the drinker rather than the driver for a change, which was nice. All was going well until their house rabbit, a cute little thing, started to chew my jeans under the table. I put my hand down to stroke him and he bit my finger quite deeply. I now a craving for large carrots ! ;D Coming home we saw a car doing a pointless bit of overtaking, only to find him a mile up the road standing looking at his car which had it's front wheel jammed up inside the wing, and debris all over the road. He'd failed to go round the roundabout. The car he had overtaken had stopped and was either going to help or have a go at him, so we thought it best not to get involved.

We have been keeping busy with school and bowling. We started going to church on Sundays with my stepfather (he raised me since I was 5) so I find I don't have to much time to just sit and relax. We had rain the other day and now it went and froze so the sidewalks is pure ice. Yesterday I walked the little one to school. I should have just put our skates on and skated there it was so bad. Next time we walk I will walk on the street..much safer in my opinion.

I had hoped I was going to make it an entire winter without a slip - unfortunately, not.

Last year my sister in-law broke her arm due to a bad fall on the ice. I put salt down on our walkways and the bad thing about that is its tracking into the house now.
Right now I am trying to finish up my course in time for April so I can graduate in June. It pretty slow going because I get stuck on a lesson then everything comes to a halt. Yesterday I applied for a temporary position with a retail store. So I have my fingers crossed they call back.

I am going to turn on the vcr in a minute to record Days of our Lives and then the Rockford Files so I can tear my bedroom apart. I lost a vintage Harley shirt and am going to see if its fallen behind some furniture. I probably will be in there for a few hours thanks to all the stuff I have. I have a sneaky feeling it fell into one of the bags of clothing I donated a few weeks ago. I sure hope not!

Well I am happy to say my shirt has been found. I am really attached to it and I would have been upset if it was gone for good. It somehow got mixed in with my little one's clothing and stuck in the dresser.
Earlier today I took the bus over to my mom's and seen a women come close to getting hit by the bus. The bus driver didn't even slow down and he missed her by a mere 2 feet. Very lucky on her part. Some people that work there are arse's in my opinion. I can say this because I know them personally.

I have a sneaky feeling it fell into one of the bags of clothing I donated a few weeks ago. I sure hope not! I had a good clear out of clothes myself this week.... I figure it's less to pack when we have to move in the near future! I felt like I had been quite ruthless in getting rid of stuff but I still have far too much left..... but that's called being female My mum took full advantage of my clear out..... much to my dad's disgust! She'd got rid of a few things for the charity bag earlier in the day then promptly re-filled the space in the wardrobe with my old clothes! ;D

I've finally worked out how to get the two free audio books (The Time Traveller's Wife and The Lost Symbol), that I got with a free trial of Audible, out of I tunes and on to discs. That's the next couple of months taken care of for my commuting listening.

I was thinking the same - is he cold, or has he eaten some WEIRD beans?? I got myself mentioned on the internet, sort of. As you all know, I listen to a podcast these days, and back at the beginning of January I took it upon myself to email them - they encourage this and occasionally read them 'on the air' - imagine my reaction when listening to this week's podcast, I heard, "Next email is from Paul Leighton, who starts....." etc etc. I was rather pleased, especially as it seemed I provoked quite a few laughs and discussion. I definitely had an attack of comic-book-nerd-fanboy-itis.
