Here's what I did... now let's get it in my head that it happened YESTERDAY prior to me starting my nightshift, as I am now typing this 'tomorrow' if you will (my goodness, I'm a time traveller!). Reet - up. Out with the doggies early on for a decent walk. Back home, major cleaning and a-mopping of the floor... laminated floors are belting until they need cleaning over due to muddy doggies! Saved all my cameraphone vids onto the flash drive - ruddy hell - about 150 of 'em! Had a quorn burger. Watched some of the "Ted Robbins" stand-up DVD I got a while back - actually pretty good! Put some washing out. Went to bed for a few hours in the avvy. Woke up nowty as hell - ruddy rain! Brought the washing in - wetter than when I put it out! Out with the doggies again. Had me tea. Ironed a uniform for work. Let Tony The Gerbil out for his nightly run around the back bedroom. Shower. Work. STILL at work! N.

Yesterday, split over 3 parts, I managed 3&half hours study! Quite chuffed with myself. I would've done it in 2 parts but I was interupted by the neighbour from over the road. He knocked on the door & asked me if I knew anything about computers...... "I know a bit" He'd bought a new laptop with Vista & was just having a little problem typing up a report on Microsoft Works - which I've never used but it's similar to Word. Managed to sort it out for him & show him a few tips on presentation etc. He was so grateful for the help...... fair made my day to have been able to help as he was obviously stressed over it. Helped me realise I'm definitely going for the right career change & I cracked on with my studies with new enthusiasm!

What have I been up to? Well, my car has let me down again! Right now it's sitting at a local garage and I don't even know what's wrong with it or whether or not I can afford to fix it. There isn't much in the way of mass transit in this town but I am making do for the time being. We've actually been discussing the possibility that the car is dead and we can't afford another one. With the cost of petrol, upkeep, insurance and everything maybe it would be cheaper not to have one. Right now I don't know, I will miss my car but in the end it's not a person it's just a possession. This could even save us money, because if we don't have a car we aren't likely to pop over to the local mall for snacks or whatnot. And if we want pop or something there is a place within walking distance, might not be bad if we got some more exercise.

Definitely thinking along those lines, I must admit.... May I take this oportunity to promote me 'Comedy Ramble' thingies? Go on - have a walk and a laugh - the latter makes the former a HELL of a lot more tolerable! N.

God has been very kind to us. He has delivered our little baby (my van) back from the great beyond. She has been given a new lease on life and I will cherish her forever.
YEAH I GOT MY CAR BACK, YEA YEA YEA YEA!

Glad to hear the car's better! I hate it when they go wrong....money, money, money etc....
I've been Duck Racing this weekend! Rubber ducks that is. All in the name of charity!
It was a great laugh, but you can't help wondering - is it natural to stand on a muddy bank by a stream outside a pub in the freezing cold shouting "Come on, Superduck!" at an inanimate object? ;D

Thats terrific news about your Car Renee. I know what its like with vehicles. We went three years without one because ours went kapoot. Finally found a deal of a car a few houses down. Three Springs and counting its still running. Using transit can be a bit of pain when it comes to buying groceries.

I actually don't mind the walking - but I reckon if I started walking the streets of Alexandria talking to myself people might get the wrong idea.
