Two words for MPFC: Absolute brilliance.
I love all the Pythons, but I'd have to say Graham Chapman was/is my favorite. My least favorite is Terry Jones, and even he has many brilliant scenes (eg, he makes the best ratbag).
The very first time I ever saw MPFC was on the Merv Griffin show, when I was a wee lass of 12, living in New Hampshire. "Monty Python and the Holy Grail" was just out, and the six boys were the guests. They all came out wearing black, and started to drape themselves around Merv's desk, coffee table, couch, anywhere they could park themselves. (Okay, it may've been the Mike Douglas show, but I'm sure it was Merv.)
Any way, they showed a scene from the movie: the encounter with the Black Knight. I was stunned, borderline appalled, but couldn't pull myself away.
I didn't see the movie, and lost interest for a few years. We relocated to Mississippi, and strangely enough for the south, the local PBS station started showing the series. My best friend discovered it first, and he'd come to school spouting lines from it, especially, "But I don't LIKE spam!" Sis and I discovered it, and we were hooked.
Since then, I've been a true-blue Python fan. I took a test, and came out 95%, "One of the Pythons." The test author said, "You could probably come up with questions I couldn't answer!"
RIP, Graham.

Who's your favorite Python? I love all the lads, I think they're brilliant, but my favorite of all is Dr Chapman himself, Graham. My least favorite, and I still like him too mind you, is Terry Jones. Best Staff-Physician-and-Star-of-the-Movie - Graham Chapman Best Screecher - John Cleese Best Poofdah - Terry Gilliam Best Smarmy Lounge Singer - Eric Idle Best Ratbag - Terry Jones Best Gumby - Michael Palin RIP, Graham Should I have said "Favourite" Python?

Who's your favorite Python? They all have their own individual styles of doing things, but I would say either John Cleese or Graham Chapman. They were the most versatile two actors.

Pants! By the time I got round to this thread that vid has been removed oh well.... Love the Pythons, obviously! Palin's my fav, he's just so cute & such a genuinely nice guy. I've been lucky enough to meet Carol Cleveland (lovely woman) a couple of times, most recently at the MP day in Doune Castle Great fun! Absolutely impossible to narrow down favourite sketches - I can't even decide on my fav film - I tend to swing between Grail & Brian. Mostly Grail, though - you'd never guess.... Ni!

They did come out at the original time of release...but as far as I know they're not currently availible...Which is a missed opportunity
