SOunds like a 'fook up' generally at first - glad you all managed to have a good day though! So Beer Engine let you down on grub eh? I'll remember that... I was going to have my do there when I get knighted... I think I'll leave it! So now it'll be Chinese Chippy then back to ours instead... fetch yer own chairs, we've not many! Glad you enjoyed the day folks! N.

Seemed quite a lot there compared to recent years. But losing out on 5 hours worth of food sales was a big mistake for the Beer Engine. I did wait though and got a couple of packs of butties and a cheeseburger as I've only been the Chinese down the road once and had fish and peas and wasn't too keen.

The turnout was one of the best ever. I've had feedback from both Roger Robinson & Willie McIntyre telling me how much they enjoyed themselves on the day, so something was right. There's one thing the 'Sons' are good at, and that's having a 'swell time', which I'm sure they all did.

For anyone thinking of attending the L&HDay this year, here is a little map to help you find the club... If you need further advice as to which junction to get off from the motorways (M6 or M61), let me know and I will tell you the best route. (unless you've got a sat nav, then that'll be a doddle)
