Here Spielberg - I know ye mentioned this when I popped down for a brew yesterday - how did it go?
I've not been for YONKS (nay longer... DONKEY'S YONKS) - just me being nosey - what fillums did they show?
I may have to come down there again sometime myself, work allowing!

DONKEY'S YONKS) - just me being nosey - what fillums did they show? I may have to come down there again sometime myself, work allowing! N. Well, as some of you may know, we have our meetings at 'The Beer Engine' pub in Poolstock, Wigan. And have done since 1992, but the Engie of beer is now seizing up! (pardon!) I srolled in last night, noticed they'd been painting the place. My first thoughts were "Ooh, they're cleaning the place up a bit, very good!", went to the bar, asked for a pint of ... "Sorry, we haven't got any!...... We've got some bottles though" ME: Right, I'll have a bottle then.. So, as he was getting me the 'warm' bottle of beer out of the fridge?... He told me... "We have got some more barrels in t'cellar, but nobody knows how to change it over!" ... A bit later when I went for a 2nd bottle... "We've none left!" ME: kin' ell, what have you got then, anything? I ended up with a pint of bitter, which, I think was brewed by 'Sarsons'! As for the meeting, that went well, a couple of extra faces showed up. We watched... 2nd Hundred Years Scram The Fixer Uppers On The Wrong Trek (Charlie Chase film) and some highlights of this year's Laurel & HarDay convention, as produced by me!

Ruddy hell - doesn't sound too good that does it?
Usually the case - I say "Oh, I might show up" and then there's summat happens to b*lls things up - same thing happened when me Tardis landed on the Titanic... and the Lusitania... and the 'Big One' at Blackpool (mind you... that just jammed, so not too bad).
;D

P.S. At least you got to show some of 'Your Work In The Gallery' - and if you're smug like me, you'd the opportuninty of sitting back, arms folded with a "I dun this - aren't a BELTING?" look on yer face!

Nice one!
You must've put a lot of effort in there... I don't know if I could be mithered with all that editing stuff - as you can see from the CD I did ye, I can do it but it takes a lot of hard graft - so I'll have ye nominated for a BAFTA!

I release a DVD every year now. The main programme being the day's highlights, plus special features!
I never make a profit selling it though! I'm still trying to break even with all the editing stuff I've bought over the last few years!

Yep... it's what it's all about - not making money, if you enjoy it, then go for it I say... I'm same with the 'Laughter Therapy' stuff - I've done it, but the only thing I get out of it is train tickets sorted and a buttie and brew when I land. Nice to have a hobby... and even nicer to get paid for it... but I reckon the chances of being "discovered" these days are very unlikely... every b*gger's got summat thay can do, so there's lots to chooes from. Mind you... I'll do ye a deal - if you end up producing in Hollywood - get me in the role instead of Jim Carrey! ,D N.

If the REAL mr. Spielberg saw my work, I'm sure he'd be impressed!
I'm still waiting for George Lucas to get in touch and bollock me for the 'Jabba The Hutt' video I did!

;D And I'm still wondering if ever I'll face charges for copyright theft like what happened a few years back... that's why my remixes are just for 'entertainment' and NOT me trying to flog 'em!
Won't do that again - and certainly NOT on a major music website!

I'd say 95% of what I sell is my own original footage, so I'm entitled to a little bit!
