I'm glad you were able to get it sorted. Sometimes I think it would be better if we still used horses to get around. They live a long time and as long as you keep them fed and shod they take little up keep. I agree with you. It seems with our car every time it needs fixing its a long weekend. Most of the city is shut down from Saturday until Tuesday. Frustrating.

Why is the city shut down from Saturday to Tuesday? Is there some kind of holiday?

Almost everything important is closed on a Saturday and Sunday. When there is a holiday on Monday they don't open until Tuesday.

Not been online much - been peeing around offline on the puter though. I've been writing - hopefully into the last 100 pages of me manuscript.
Also been playing the Sims, and also rediscovered the joys of playing my old copy of FIFA 2000.
Since October, I've also spent a lot of time watching American game shows, especially the Price is Right. Yes, I am that sad. ;D

Yes, I am that sad. ;D Uncanny that! I too, have rediscovered the joys of the PS2. I bought Grand Theft Auto - Vice City Stories the other week, so I've been hooked on that recently! I'm getting into games again & wouldn't mind a cheap copy of Age of Empires III now for the PC. If you haven't played the Age of Empire games, they're jolly good fun!

I'm pretty sure Renee's got the Age Of Empire stuff here somewhere. Not really my sort of game.
And while I love the 'Big Three' GTAs for the PS2, I'm not really into the 'Stories' spinoffs.
To me, they just don't seem like the same games, if that makes sense.

I know what you mean about the GTA spin-offs. Although I dont mind 'em myself. Mind you, I've always enoyed the GTA games right as far back as the very first one on the PS1. These games are better if you are a little bit sadistic when playing them! Not that I'm that sort of person in real life, but I do enjoy sending some bloke out (Age of Empires) on a mission on his own with nothing but an axe as a weapon, leading hime to the dangers of an entire army ready to beat the crap out of him! Also, on The Sims, I take great pleasure in removing the steps from the swimming pool and watching the little buggers swim and swim until they drown! Another nasty trick I do is build a room, fill it full of nice comfy chairs, tables etc... Add a 'firework display' indoors, then get some poor sim to go in the room and set off a firework! Also, to make sure the plan works, remove the doors once they're in! Great fun! ;D
