Earlier this week it was Mrs Two Sledge's 30th birthday.
As a special present to her, I got tickets to go and see UB40 last night at the MEN arena.
It was a pretty decent show too. I'm not a massive fan myself, but don't mind a lot of their stuff. Mrs Two Sheds DOES like 'em more than me and was made up to see them play live.
Maxi Priest was the support act beforehand. Not too bad either. In fact, some of his vocals were better than Ali Campbell's! (who never spoke a bloody word all through the gig. He left all the talky bits to one of the other chaps!)
For those who may be interested, UB40 have a new album coming out in March. They sang three tracks from it last night. Not bad either.
Anyway, that's what I've been up to! (apart from the usual worky stuff!)

Finally got my Mum to Bolton!
Sadly it seemed to be full of people who like to make a person using a walker move rather then shift there stupid ignorent arsehole selves!...Mum being Nice/Silly Moved out of there way...
Too crowded to...by time I'd finished was in full Grinch mode!...

Too crowded to...by time I'd finished was in full Grinch mode!... The ignorant Boltonian sods!  I've just nipped into Wigan for a couple of things. Did what I had to then buggered off out of there. Lasted about half an hour. I can't stand crowds! |

Not done much today. Spent ages sorting out the AVG virus stuff on my PC - I went away for a week & when I got back I found out a so-called mate had stuffed up the firewall & it had a virus  Got it sorted now, though. Been into town, got a couple of bargains in the sales, gonna have tea & watch a dvd in a bit. |

I've just got back from Benidorm (or 'Benid-home') as someone reffered to it as not long ago.
It's the first time I've ever been away for the New Year. I enjoyed it thoroughly it must be said, although much alcohol was consumed and I have several memory blanks to certain parts. One of which I've since seen video evidence of my drunken antics. (VIDEO TO FOLLOW SOON!)
