I've been painting my garden gate today - very boring but it's got to be done if I ever want to sell this house, and I don't get many daylight hours to do jobs like that in. It's freezing outside with wind that blows right through you.... and as I'm starting to go numb & thinking what an idiot I am for being out in the cold, I hear some chimes..... the ice cream van pulls up outside the house! Needless to say he went off without selling anything.... but you've got to admire optimism like that

I have been hiding out in the house. Way too cold outside.

Keeping busy indoors. Like Gigi says, FAR too cold to go outside unless you have to.

I meant, you know, for the maintenance and performance of his computer's systems.
Honestly, I did.

Giving this old warhorse of a machine a damn good de-frag etc...it was in a sulk earlier Be gentle with it. It's over 8 years old now. (what's that in computer years?)

Here's what I've been doing... Sleeping in the day. Going to work at night. Putting more 'comedy rambles' on youtube. Watching a bit of telly ('Torchwood' was what I last watched... plus watching my 'Blake's 7' DVDs when on my break at work). Apart from that, the usual letting the dogs have a walk and a cack etc. N.

Me... Apart from here Looking after Mum And Getting on my own nerves I'm my own worse enemy and not fond of me today Have a hug... Hope you feel better soon. As for me... Ridiculously early start for me (up at 5.45am) Very boring day in work made slightly more bearable by loads of junk food (muffin, tea cake & apple pie!) Asda food shopping after work Currently setting up my 2nd PC at home which will eventually be used for course work - downloading antivirus software at mo Basically hanging out on t'net for most of rest of evening!

05:45 eh? Ruddy pain that... when I do 'early shifts' I start at 06:55, and as I have to travel by car, I have to be up at about 5:25! When I'm working 'on the community' it'll be easier - 9 a.m. start... no weekends... close to where I work - belting! Anyhow - here's what I done did: Finsihed work, took doggies out, back in - bed. Cursed and moaned - only got 4 hours sleep! Off to Tesco for stuff for tea. Out with the doggies. Watched 'Ashes To Ashes' taped from previous evening. Ordered my new chum 'Frankie Fishcake' online and had a bit of a mooch. Let Tony the Gerbil out for his evening run in the back bedroom. Shower. Work. Break - which I'm on now! N,
