Uh...well... It does fall into the category of being "wude" I suppose. It was me, um, comforting a woman. Comforting a woman rather...enthusiastically. Thing is, the woman in question was an officious little woman who I've never, ever, shown the slightest interest in. Renee's Mom's social worker. Figure that one out, Dr. Freud! Coz it sure as hell surprised me. And Renee hasn't let me live it down since and takes every opportunity to take the p*ss about it. Good thing I love her. (Renee I mean, not the social worker!)

I would've kept that to myself! Has anyone ever had an 'Out of the Body' experience? I've had 3, and they are very spooky!

Has anyone ever had an 'Out of the Body' experience? Could make a 'beans' gag here but I won't. Never had one... but I've done that in a dream which is mad... where you say "I must be dreaming!" - I thought the rules wouldn't let you say that... like the Matrix... yer not supposed to know it's going on. What's even weirder is 'hypnagogic state' ? The hypnagogic state is that state between being awake and falling asleep. For some people, this is a time of visual and auditory hallucination.also: hypnopompic state
The hypnopompic state is the transition state of semiconsciousness between sleeping and waking. For some people, this is a time of visual and auditory hallucination.I've had that... when you 'see things' etc. - can be quite frightning even though there's nowt to be done about it and no major harm caused - often reckoned to be the cause of people 'seeing' ghosts etc. Now this one is slightly more worrying if it happens: sleep paralysis
Sleep paralysis is a condition that occurs in the state just before dropping off to sleep (the hypnagogic state) or just before fully awakening from sleep (the hypnopompic state). The condition is characterized by being unable to move or speak. It is often associated with a feeling that there is some sort of presence, a feeling which often arouses fear but is also accompanied by an inability to cry out. The paralysis may last only a few seconds. The experience may involve visual, auditory, or tactile hallucinations. The description of the symptoms of sleep paralysis is similar to the description many alien abductees give in recounting their abduction experiences. Sleep paralysis is thought by some to account for not only many alien abduction delusions, but also ghost sightings and delusions involving paranormal or supernatural experiences (e.g., incubus and succubus).
Sleep paralysis is something many people experience once or twice in a lifetime but it is a frequent occurrence of those suffering from narcolepsy. There you go - don't have nightmares! N. P.S. I've had one and it worried me... involved my wife having medical tests whilst I was out with a metal detector in the hospital grounds to pass time on... the results came back, all was okay, but then we had an argument... so she went off to bath a friend's labrador whilst I drove home alone. And yes... I DO realise how feckin' MAD that sounds! ;D

Re: the above... I was still upset and came downstairs early before me missus went to work to make sure she was okay - and then you get looked at, like you're going strange! Now come on - who else has done a trick like that? N.

Re: the above... I was still upset and came downstairs early before me missus went to work to make sure she was okay - and then you get looked at, like you're going strange! Now come on - who else has done a trick like that? N. I must admit, I dreamt I had a very very serious argument with Mrs. S once, woke up and thought it had really happened. On a lighter note, last night's dream involved me going to a wedding do. (don't know who's it was) There was a lot of older guests there and the entertainment was provided by none other than Dave Spikey! Not doing stand-up comedy though. He was singing 'Jerry St. Clair' songs. I was the only one singing along... "So, you'd better smile.... smile..... smile"Since I woke up this morning, I 've been singing that song on and off all day! "I don't know how it started, but it won't go away...."

What I don't like is when you're watching 'em, you can be enjoying it, but the next second you're walking down a country lane in Billinge?

Aha - was waiting for you to ask! ;D
Okay... me Mam's dog - well, he was 'mine' when I lived there - the late great Monty (Zygon'll remember him).
Part alsation, part Collie... kind of dog that could round you up and then charge you for wasting police time! ;D
A belting dog, always slept either by or on me bed.
Anyhow - one day, I dreamed me Mam had got shut, and got one of those feckin' 'Lassie' dogs instead... pedigree, could do all stupid tricks etc. etc.
His name - SLIMY THOMPSON.
I woke up skriking!!!
And Monty looked over at me gave a sigh, then nodded off again!
There - so now you know!
Never forgave me Mam for that - even though it was a dream!
;D
